Shock garnered 17 AVN Awards. First, Latex rocked the world of adult entertainment with its unprecedented visionary style. It swept the critics right off their feet – then swept all the major awards. Nothing, it seems, could top it. Until Shock. Michael Ninn and Antonio Passolini have teamed up again to bring you a cyber-sequel that takes you even deeper into the psyche of their now-famous anti-hero Malcolm Stevens (Jon Dough). Deeper than you may care to go, in fact …. It's the story of a quest into the unknown. A quest for truth. For revenge. For meaning in a world where there is none-except insanity. Most of all, it's an erotic tour-de-force that only Michael Ninn and the creative dreamteam at VCA could deliver. Get a glimpse of the future. Get Shock.
[OK. When we said you'd never see anything like Latex again … well … we meant except for Shock. Look: You had never seen special effects and compositing in an adult movie on this scale, and honestly you didn’t see it again — even from Michael — until The Four in 2012. This was literally the show that set the standard for nearly 20 years. Now VCA was hot off the profits of Michael's first THREE big blockbusters, and so he cajoled them into putting big bucks into a very lengthy post-production. I mean, you have an entire orchestra where every player is the same guy. You have a stadium full of people watching a sex scene. And, again, you have Juli Ashton before she was Juli Ashton … Things like this only come around once folks. If you can't afford this show, borrow it from someone. You will have moved another notch along in your Michael Ninn education, and this is a good thing.]
