Julia Ann has had a long and varied porn career and she’s still going strong! Wicked (wisely) decided to commemorate her accomplishments with Wicked Divas: Julia Ann “The Legend.”
It’s almost unheard of for competing porn companies to collaborate with one another, but when Julia Ann becomes involved you hear a completely different story. Besides seven of her favorite Wicked Pictures scenes, we are treated to hard core clips from Julia’s pre-Wicked career, including her famous ice dildo scene with Janine from Andrew Blake’s Hidden Obsessions.
Julia recounts her life in the porn business, and some of her closest friends and associates reminisce about Julia’s career. There are exclusive interviews with Andrew Blake, FJ Lincoln, Michael Raven, Randy Spears, Christy Canyon, and Janine. Julia shares “pre-porn” home movies of her wrestling in shaving cream, “Blondage” on the road, and playing in the ocean with Janine. We’re shown early photos including Julia’s first head shots that she posed for at age 18.
Julia performed two special sex scenes just for this disc – one in a bed with Randy Spears because even though he’s one of her favorite partners, they always seem to have their sex scenes where it’s cold, dark, late, and/or uncomfortable. The other extra scene is with jessica drake [sic] in a bubble bath, because girls like to have sex in a nice, relaxing bubble bath! (And who wouldn’t want to bathe with Julia and Jessica?)
I’m lucky enough to consider Julia Ann a friend, and I found the entire DVD interesting and enlightening as well as sexy. If you don’t know Julia (and even if you do) this is one movie you don’t want to miss!
[We don’t often provide a caveat such as this, but we only have a couple of these left. If you like Julia, or Blondage, or even 90’s porn history in general, you might think about saving up for this one. They will be gone at some point.]
